This 2014 honda civic lx came straight from a hertz rental fleet. It is nearly immaculate - the black paint is nearly flawless and the interior is gorgeous. Carfax reports 0 accidents and a single owner and all hertz vehicles are well-maintained. Frankly, i prefer rental fleet vehicles because, contrary to popular opinion, these vehicles are regularly cleaned, repaired and maintained. The average consumer cannot come close by comparison. With its reputation for reliability, safety, comfort and excellent resale still intact, the 2014 honda civic remains one of the best small-car values around. The lx is the base model in the lineup but this does not mean it lacks features everyone wants! The exterior is great but rather spartan - steel wheels with wheel covers but civics have a nice feature where the rear seats fold to allow rear cargo access. Inside it has all the typical amenities - power windows, locks, etc. Although driver fore/aft is manual, there are 4 other adjustments possible. The dash is nice because it puts oft-used gauges closer to the line of sight than other vehicles and includes a 160w am/fm/cd audio system -with 4 speakers, pandora compatibility, bluetooth streaming audio, bluetooth phone, center console usb audio interface and mp3/auxiliary input jack. At the heart of this car is the unstoppable 1. 8l i-vtec 4-cylinder now with a cvt transmission - a combination which delivers 30 mpg city and 39 mpg highway.
