The last owner, who had it for all but 2,000 of its miles, took care of it. So much so, i would be surprised to find it had spent any time off-road. Had very little to point out! Carfax tells us this had 2 owners and both did a good job of maintaining the vehicle. The first owner bought it but only had it for a year and drove just over 2,000 miles -- clearly it was a toy. The second owner, who traded it in to us, drove it the usual mileage per year but was fastidious with its upkeep. He started in pennsylvania, moved to el paso and ended in killeen where we came into the picture. The editors of motor trend, preparing for their torture test, ordered the jeep rubicon. They described the rubicon this way, "the rubicon package comes with a rock-trac transfer case with the same nv241 low-range ratio gearing that the hummer h3 has. The 4:1 low-range gear in the transfer case allows the vehicle to offer a 47:1 crawl ratio (first gear x axle ratio x low range), which gives the vehicle amazing tire-grabbing control. Add to this the fact that the rubicon package has front and rear locking differentials to provide equal tractive force to each tire. A single button allows the driver to engage the rear locker first, then the front locker if needed. Furthermore, there is also a front anti-roll bar disconnect switch that relaxes the three-piece steel anti-roll bar to give the front suspension almost 20-percent more flex to navigate over rocky or uneven terrain." that's a mouth-full even for me but the bottom line is this -- go off road! This jeep needs to see some action! The rubicon (other than the unlimited -- the 4 door, long wheelbase version) is the top-of-the-line model. This vehicle includes the trailer tow group with a 4-pin connector and class ii receiver hitch and the mopar chrome group including mopar chrome exhaust tip, mopar chrome fuel filler door, mopar chrome taillamp guards and a chrome grille. Fog lamps round out the exterior features. Lacking nothing on the inside, this not only has air conditioning and all the normal power accessories (windows, locks, remote entry) but it has the mygig multimedia system w/navigation including am/fm stereo, 6-disc cd changer, hard disc drive, touch-screen display, auxiliary audio input, mp3 playback, and sirius satellite traffic.
